All applications submitted by the specified deadline will be included in the competition. A jury then selects the five most significant applications from among all the applicants. If they choose you, you test the mentioned Bionics4Education Kit in accordance with the given test criteria and finally share your experience report with the community. The product test is not supported by Facebook and has no connection to Facebook.

What is Bionics4Education?
Bionics4Education combines analog and digital learning in a didactic form with a practice-oriented DIY engineering kit and an accompanying digital learning environment. Bionics4Education was developed by a team of engineers, designers, computer scientists and biologists.
Festo's Bionic Learning Network has successfully developed many bionically inspired robots in the past. These robots have always inspired young people. Now these experiences have flowed into the development of the learning kit.
The learning kit contains the material for three different bionically inspired projects:
Bionic elephant trunk
Bionic fish model
Bionic chameleon gripper
All robots are driven by servo motors and controlled by a microcontroller. Detailed instructions allow the maker to design custom animal robots that can be easily controlled via smartphones, tablets or computers.
For real makers there is a lot to explore here!
We reveal our construction plans for your own extensions and modifications! With 3D printing and other tools in combination with our construction kit you are able to further develop the models or even design your own animals. Create your own animals and applications! We are looking forward to your creativity!
